I sincerely hope that Bug does not read this blog, because I've got to let you in on something that he's still a little sensitive about. Over Easter, while at the Burnham's, we staged an intervention; for, our baby Dachshund has a little problem the very expensive Vet on Hudson Street has diagnosed as BarkingAllTheDamnTime syndrome.

Mr. Beach
There are many indications of extensive compatibility between baby-Dachshund and beach. Let us examine a few things the b-D enjoys at the beach.
1. Posing for pictures, while looking very small...
2. Waves may be fun, but we are not sure, as they are very dangerous for baby-Dachshunds...
2.5 Ach! He knew those waves would be wet and cold and scary and bad!
3. Walking on little rocks while looking small and cute...
4. Tasting strange beach animals...
5. Running! With ears!
6. Investigating suspicious activities...
7. More running!
8. Digging to unearth important discoveries...
9. Enjoying the sweet payoff of making important discoveries while digging... in this case, a rock...
9. Leaving the beach!
