Mr. iDig

Before the court ordered us to take in and raise up the Dachshund known as Bug, we blindly carried on, going about our days as if there were no badgers living in our couch. Bug has enlightened us.

For those of you unfamiliar with the habits and skills of the Dachshund, please check Wikipedia. I'd like to direct you to the history section of the article in which the Dachshund's name is explained:
Some have theorized that the early roots of the dachshund go back to Ancient Egypt, where engravings were made featuring short-legged hunting dogs...[but,] The first verifiable references to the dachshund, originally named the "Tachs Kriecher" (badger crawler) or "Tachs Krieger" (badger warrior), came from books written in the early 1700s.

This made me laugh aloud at my desk at work. ...And no, I'm not proud that I actually make time to check the bug-a-day blog. Really. I'm so pathetic. LOVE YOU!!
